BAYBAYIN

Baybayin is an ancestral Filipino writing , a calligraphic art unique in the world that was used until the arrival of the Spanish in the 16th century . This writing is now almost lost. In the face of the colonial concept of “indigenous literacy”, recovering Baybayin is asserting our value, our essence and our roots.
